The South African Women’s Alliance is pleased to announce our 2020-2021 Academic Year Scholarship Competition. As a part of its commitment to support educational programs and research, students are invited to participate in SAWA's scholarship program. To enter, students must present in 2000 words or less, a letter to the current President of South Africa, a specific resolution for the current crisis related to the Restitution of Land Rights Act 22 of 1994 in South Africa, implemented after Apartheid. The winning letter will be selected by the student that exhibits thorough research on this issue of Land Restitution Rights for Black South Africans, and proposes a feasible resolution, whose process could begin implementation immediately. Open to undergraduate students only.
